Collection: Bonne Maison

Bonne Maison is a French brand of fine socks created by Béatrice in 2012. Each collection is built like a short story: three universes per season, each comprising 12 models, where colours and motifs respond to each other and create their own narrative.

A large part of Bonne Maison's personality lies in its designs. Flowers, animals, landscapes, characters, objects, and unexpected patterns appear in compositions that can be delicate, fun, mysterious, or a little surreal. Socks thus cease to be merely a practical item and become a small surface for expression.

But behind the freedom of the designs lies very meticulous work. Bonne Maison uses high-quality Egyptian cotton, worked in a double thread for greater resistance. The very fine knit allows the designs to be reproduced with great precision, and the toe is reinforced and seamless. About 80% of production is carried out in France, and the rest in Europe (including Portugal), working with specialized manufacturers and maintaining limited quantities to reduce excess stock.

Why I chose Bonne Maison for Bah Oui

Because I like the idea that something as simple as socks can have so much personality. I like the designs, the colours, and especially the possibility of choosing a pair almost as if one were choosing a small illustration. There is always something to discover and, depending on the model, they can be discreet or be precisely the detail that changes an entire outfit.

I also like that they are items that don't need a special occasion. They are small things we can choose simply because we like them.

At Bah Oui, I choose the Bonne Maison models that captivate me, by their designs, colours, or any unexpected detail — those I think will make someone smile when they discover them. I also choose based on the colour universe that can create combinations with items from other brands of the season.

A photo of Repetto shoes, white Zizis, with a pair of brown Bonne Maison socks with white dots, made me search for and discover the brand.
