What's a visit to the Sessùn showroom like?

Twice a year, whenever everything goes well, I head to Paris to visit the Sessun showroom, one of my favourite brands that has been with me since the beginning of Bah Oui. The showroom is located in a quiet courtyard, in a bright space, where the entire new collection is displayed. That's where I choose, a year in advance, the pieces that will arrive at the store in the following season.

The team already knows me; they know which pieces I won't like or won't fit Bah Oui. There's Audrey, Laurent, who loves it when I speak Portuguese and listens to Brazilian music (he also introduced me to Nougaro), and the beautiful Charline, who, in addition to helping with the selection, models the pieces I have doubts about. We always laugh because everything looks good on Charline. So, each visit is less a shopping trip and more a pleasant meeting, which sometimes extends to lunch and a work session that can take up the entire afternoon, deciding piece by piece what will be part of the store's next collection.

It's one of the moments of the year I enjoy the most, already imagining how each piece will hang "at home", a year later, waiting for whoever comes to look for it.
