There are people who believe in us before we even understand why. Ana is one of them.

My landlady, long before she became, perhaps unknowingly, one of the most important people in this story. In the beginning, when I was still trying to explain what Bah Oui would be — a shop, yes, but also a home, a space with soul, an idea that even I couldn't fully put into words — she listened. Even without understanding everything, she trusted. And that trust, given so freely, without guarantees, is worth more than any business plan.

From that first day, Ana has never stopped being present. The support she gave me — and continues to give — was, and is, one of those rare things.

There would be no Bah Oui without Ana. It's as simple as that. And that's why this first portrait, in this series that aims to showcase the people who bring this space to life, had to start with her.
